Main Duties:
- Responsible for the day to-day running and co-ordination of the Box Build area and overall supervision of production operators
- Co-ordinate production start-ups & shut downs, allocating work to, and overseeing the work of the production team
- To be proficient in Box Build assembly processes and associated tools/equipment
- Manage the daily requirements of the schedule as agreed with scheduling to ensure completion of agreed dates.
- Monitor and/or manage output, productivity, quality, efficiency, and overtime and ensure completion of all job-related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Essential:
- GCSE Maths/English (A-C) OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate literacy and numeracy
- Minimum of 2 years relevant Manufacturing experience and be able to demonstrate leadership potential and a desire for career development with excellent product knowledge
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package (Word/Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Possess the ability to lead and motivate a team of people
- Be self-motivated, focused and have a positive, hands-on approach to work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attendance and timekeeping
