Elite Electronic Systems Ltd formed in April 1986, our first production of Cable and Mechanical assembly started in June.

1987

First printed circuit board assembly and test commenced

1990

Moved to new 10,000 sq ft at Lackaboy Industrial Estate. Opened by the former Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.

1990

Won Headstart competition for local businesses

1990

The Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, officially opened the company

1991

Obtained BS5750 Quality Standard

1993

Factory extended to  20,000 sq ft (further extensions over the years)

1994

Implemented the first surface mount placement machine

1997

Began producing our wiring plans on AutoCad

1998

Completed the first of many NVQ certifications for operators

1999

Implemented the fibre optic cable assembly process

Obtained IIP accreditation

2004

Implementation of ERP system (Jobshop) and ROHS Compliant status achieved

2006

Elite USA facility opened in South Carolina

2010

IPC 610 and 620 accreditation achieved for PCB and Cable Assemblies

2012

Achieved ISO 13485 Medical Quality Standard

2014

Full upgrade of ERP to Javelin

2016

J Standard accreditation achieved for PCB Soldering

2018

Achieved ISO 27001 Information Security Standard

HRH the Princess Royal visited Elite as part of a two-day visit to Northern Ireland.

Managers achieved ILM Level 5 and Supervisors achieved ILM Level 3
